Welcome to our second newsletter update for the work taking place at the Adult Hybrid Theatre 17.

So far on site:

– Harry Brooks have installed the stud works and plaster boarded one side.
– I&G started lead lining works in theatres area.
– I&G making new openings and blocking up existing one.
– Richardson’s Electrical started first fix containment.
– Glidefield fixing brackets and installing the ducting risers on the outside of the building.
– Floway – Barkell delivery of the air handling unit (AHU) and installed on to the new plant deck.
– TASC fire protection on the steel plant deck.

We will be progressing with the M&E first fix as well as lead lining the sud walls in the theatre area. The isolation and the medi gas panel will be removed, then we will continue with making the new opening for the new sliding door to the main corridor. The doors for site have gone into production. I will be on holiday with my family in Cornwall from the 7th for two weeks. I will be leaving you in the very capable hands of Paul Dyson and Marcus Robinson.
