About the works

We’ve been working hard down on the Level D plant room:

• Removal of the of Air Handling Unit
• Installing the ducting to facilitate the cable pull from Level D to Level E
• Wiring in power back-up systems to support the main switch panel
• Core drilling through nearly half a meter of concrete for the air circulation systems
• Starting to board up partitions on Level E

Over the next two weeks, our focus will be on:

• Building walls
• Continuing to fix up 5.5 tonnes of plasterboard to form Level E partitions
• Carrying on with the cable pull up to, and around Cath Lab 1
• Ensuring the air handling ducting goes in
